Chocolate Pudding Recipe
When someone says chocolate pudding, it brings us back to our childhood. Chocolate pudding is dear to our hearts. It tastes likes Sunday afternoon when our Mum used to prepare chocolate pudding with bananas for us.
Throw away the box and try this classic homemade pudding recipe. You won’t believe how incredibly easy it is to make creamy chocolate pudding from scratch!
You can add few pieces of banana at the bottom of the bowl. Whipped cream goes well with chocolate and banana. Feel free to decorate with chocolate chips, chocolate shavings or any decoration you prefer.
Homemade chocolate pudding can be made in advance and stored in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy it.

Ingredients
2 large egg yolks
90 granulated white sugar
3 tablespoons corn starch
675ml milk
140g milk (depending on your preference) chocolate, chopped
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Option: whipped cream and chocolate shavings, for topping
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, chocolate and salt and warm over medium heat. stir until the chocolate melts.
3. Gradually whisk the hot chocolate (half at the time) mixture into the egg mixture, whisking quickly, until you have warmed up the egg mixture.
4. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan and keep whisking until thickened- 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat: stir in the vanilla, then divide among 6 serving cups. Cover each with plastic wrap and refrigerate until well set (at least 2 hours or overnight).
