Invisible apple cake
Match made in heaven? That is apple and cinnamon…it’s terrifically tender, very refreshing and at the same time very much wintery. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. This invisible apple cake is for all cinnamon and apple lovers who enjoy having something done fast, easy and tasty. You can use any kind of apples and if you are a cinnamon lover, you can definitely add an extra teaspoon of cinnamon.
Invisible apple cake is typical French recipe, which doesn’t require hard to find ingredients or any special equipment…but producing simply spectacular results.
Ingredients
2 eggs
50g of caster sugar
20g of butter
100ml of milk
70g of all-purpose flour
1 sachet of baking powder - 11grams
1 pinch of salt
6 apples
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
1. In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar to blanch. Add the melted butter and milk, mix. Add the flour mixture, baking powder and salt, mix well.
2. Peel and slice apples thinly.
3. Sprinkle cinnamon on apples.
4. Mix apples with egg mixture.
5. Line baking tray with baking paper and pour in the mixture. Bake for 35 – 40 mins.
