Home made chicken nuggets

These chicken nuggets are not just easy to prepare but they are also really tasty, you can enjoy them as a snack, lunch, dinner, prepare them for kid’s party or for a picnic.

There are absolutely no additives and Corn Flakes will add an extra crunch so there is no need to fry these chicken nuggets.  

Home chicken nuggets are also perfect recipe to prepare with kids – you can be creative with shapes.

You can easily roll a cat head or any shape you like. Just oil hands of your little ones and fun can begin. Charlotte and Lily enjoyed preparing their favourite shapes – especially the cat.

You can prepare them ahead before the party. Chicken nuggets also freeze well, so you can prepare a big batch and you have home made ready meal in your freezer for a quick dinner.

 

Ingredients

700 – 800g chicken breast

1 tablespoon of maizena  

1 egg

½ teaspoon dried garlic

2 tablespoons salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

100g Corn Flakes

20g grated parmesan cheese

Directions   

Preheat oven to 190 degrees 

1. Put Corn Flakes into mixer and blend until you have almost Corn Flakes have brad crumbs consistency. If you don’t have a blender, you can always put Corn Flakes into plastic bag and, Roll a rolling pin over the bag so you will crush the cornflakes into crumbs.

Add parmesan.

2. Cut chicken breast into cubes.

3. Put chicken breast into mixer and blend.

4. Add 1 egg, maizena, salt, black pepper and mix well.

5. Put little bit of oil on your hands and make a ball.

6. Roll balls/nuggets in corn flakes crumbs.

7. Put them next to each other on a tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 15 Minutes. Serve.
